Lake Village Baptist Church is involved in two foreign mission trips each year. Our first mission trip is to Guatemala, where we partner with local churches to conduct Vacation Bible School for the local children. On this trip we also emphasize personal evangelism and often go door-to-door looking for opportunities to share the gospel with the those in the region who have not come to faith in Christ.
Our second mission trip is to Haiti and is geared toward meeting the physical needs of construction and manual labor that many of the churches of Haiti experience. We encourage men and women with experience in carpentry and other areas of construction and labor to become involved in our mission work to Haiti. While the emphasis on this trip is the meeting of physical needs, we also strive to keep our eyes open for opportunities to make the gospel known.
